Improving safety frequently depends on increasing individual awareness. Incentive - recognition programs help increase safety awareness and in the long run will improve our bottom line. Incentive programs also help to keep workers thinking about safety. And when the issue is tied into a reward or recognition, it’s more likely to be on the minds of our workers, and simply having it on their minds can prevent a lot of careless mistakes. It also invites employees to participate in safety, which ultimately will improve our overall safety culture and the bottom line.

The Safety Recognition Program strives to recognize those who step up and go above and beyond in the realm of safety. The recognition program, along with good training, helps keep safety on the minds of all our employees all the time.
We want to recognize and reward employees for accepting our challenge, “It’s TIME to STEP UP for Safety”. This will help us minimize accidents on the job. The recognition program is intended to motivate employees to be proactive in safety and increase safety awareness. Safety bucks will be issued to employees who show they are engaged in safety and are stepping up.
