Toolbox Talks
• A Toolbox Talk is an informal safety meeting that focuses on safety topics related to the specific job, such as workplace hazards and safe work practices.
• Tool box talks of 5 to 10 minutes should be held by superintendents or crew leader each week. Employees never receive too much training, and therefore your company should also rely upon jobsite leaders to provide ongoing and continuous employee training.
• Toolbox talk forms should be provided in the Site Safety Plan Manual.
• You can even provide a “short test” to document “competency” for the subject matter
Need help with developing toolbox talks? Just let me know, I'd be happy to provide you with custom toolbox talks at a reasonable cost
